I gave "quality" a 3 out of 5 because my Lexmark printer will not recognize the cartridge. That's a pain which requires a workaround to get the machine to print and there's no way of knowing when the cartridge is running out of ink because Lexmark ALWAYS says it's out of ink.

I was skeptical about trying a "re-manufactured" ink cartridge but was very surprised with the outcome. The ink cartridge worked as well as the original cartridge at approx. 1/2 the price.

I purchased 3 #34 crtridge for a Lexmark x4530. When I received them, one was leaking and had to have it replaced. The second would not print because the printer would not reconginize the cartridge. LD did replace the 1st cartridge and are sending a replacement for the 2nd.
No, I do not recommend this product.

It's a hit and miss for me I've ordered products from LD before without any problems but when I received this ink cartridge it was poorly packaged. When I opened the cartridge box some of the ink inside leaked out, luckily it was shrink wrapped in plastic so none of it got out of the package. After installing the product my fax machine immediately recognized the cartridge but after two uses I kept getting an error. Turns out its a the cartridge didn't sit inside the holder very well because of a manufacture defect and it kept popping out. I had to jerry-rig it by taping some paper on both sides of the cartridge to hold it in place before I could use the cartridge again but that's only a temporary fix, after several uses the cartridge pops back out again.

After Initial installment, the cartridge did not work. Because of that, the printer defaulted to printing all prints from the color cartridge, which did work upon installation, i.e., it was accepted during initial install.
After this, I called LD, used a warm/wet paper towel to get the ink to flow on the black cartridge.
However, after this, the printer no longer accepted thi scartridge as a legitimate cartridge. I now have ordered a new black print cartridge from the manufacturer, and my printer will no longer accept this ink cartridge. I must now return this cartridge, because it will not work in my printer.
After this, I called LD, used a warm/wet paper towel to get the ink to flow on the black cartridge.

I have purchased from LD Products for some time and will continue to do so. On the one occasion when I had a ribbon that wouldn't work, they immediately shipped me another one, no questions asked. These ribbons work great (can't tell any difference from the ones I used to buy from Lexmark), but seeing how good LD was to quickly replace a defective ribbon made me a loyal customer.
