Upon unwrapping packagain ink pour out all over; same thing on replacement cartridge
On the plus side customer service was very responsive, and after 3 days ink has come off my hands.

Purchased 2 Photo black and was unable to get either to work on my HP. I followed all directions and product was never recognized by my Printer. Still showed as without ink. Will try to return the color products and not use any other products. Had to return to HP products only. Will not order these again.

I purchased a full set, so this will be copied to every cartridge for this set.
Happy with the price...unhappy with the product. I did get streaky prints with the first few pages, however I hadn't used the printer in a while so I'll chock that up to the lack of use, and do a couple print head cleanings.
But.......upon opening the first ink (magenta) and removing the tab/tape....ink spilling everywhere! Fortunately my hand was on the bottom of the cartridge, so it only filled my palm up with in and not my carpet. After the first one, I grabbed a towel, and made sure to cover the bottom of the cartridge immediately after removing the tab. Every one of the tabs had standing ink in the bottom. Oh yea, the ink levels also show at warning level below 25%. Will I buy again….probably not.

I do apologize for the trouble you have had with our Compatible HP 564XL cartridges. These cartridges are known to be sensitive at times. When opening them first pull off the pull tab and then turn the cartridge upside down in the palm of your hand and twist off the clip, also, holding the ends of the cartridge instead of the sides when installing them should keep them from leaking out.
When purchasing remanufactured cartridges it is very common to get a "low" or "empty" error message because these cartridges have already been through one cycle of service. When we receive these cartridges to remanufacture they are already low or empty and, unfortunately, we are unable to reset the electronic chip to allow accurate ink level monitoring. So, once the electronic chip on the cartridge reads an ink level status of empty or low, it will continue to do so even after it has been refilled. The printer is reading the chip on the cartridge, not the actual ink levels inside of the cartridge.
If you happen to experience trouble getting your cartridges to print, please call us at 888-321-2552 M-F 7am-6pm PST or S 8am-4pm PST and a customer service representative will be happy to provide troubleshooting techniques or if none are available, set up a reshipment to replace any problematic cartridges within our one year warranty.

Dear Gordon, I am sorry to hear of the print quality issues you are experiencing with our Remanufactured HP 564XL ink cartridge. This technique has worked for many customers. I think it may be worth a try to see if we can get those cartridges printing correctly for you:
1. Remove the problem cartridge from the printer.
2. Cover the nozzle with a paper towel and shake the cartridge for 10-15 seconds.
3. Reinstall into the printer.
4. Once installed, run the print head cleaning cycle. You may have to run this 1-2 times before printing quality is reestablished.

I am usually impressed with these products but this time proved to be disastrous. When I removed all the tabs, etc., ink went everywhere, i.e. it started leaking out of the cartridge before I could get into the printer. Hopefully its a fluke and will have better success with the next one.

I am very disappointed with the product. When I opened the black to put it in my printer, it started leaking. I was lucky that it did not get on my carpet. It did get on my desk and I have not gotton all of that off yet. I put it back in the wrapper and got out the second black cartridge. It started dripping when I removed the orange strap. I blotted it with a paper towel and was able to install it. By then I had ink all over my fingers and hand. Now my hp printer tells me that I am out of ink. I have not yet installed any of the color cartridges, but hope they work better. I am very sorry that I tried your product.

Hi there, Bill! I am so sorry to hear that you have had trouble with some of these cartridges leaking and I am so sorry for the disappointment this has caused. These cartridges are pressurized to allow ink to flow out of them. When opening, we recommend gripping the cartridge lengthwise by the sides. After removing the yellow pull tab, you can flip the cartridge upside and then remove the orange protective clip to prevent leakage from the nozzle. Once the pressure in the cartridge has equalized, the cartridges are fine to install in your machine.
These cartridges will continue to read low or empty after installation. Unfortunately, we have not yet found a way to reset the OEM brand electronic chip to allow for accurate ink level monitoring. Though they will continue to read low or empty, you can press "okay" to bypass the message and print.
To remove ink from your hands, it is best to use an abrasive soap. If you continue to experience trouble or if you need any assistance, please contact our customer service team at 1-888-321-2552 M-F 6am-6pm PST and Sat 7am-4pm PST and a representative would be more than happy to assist you!

after installing the cartridge in my printer, I kept getting an alignment failure message, even after multiple attempts. I never thought I would so much trouble.

2. Turn off your printer
3. Unplug the printer from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for about 3 minutes.
4. After the 3 minute wait, plug it back in and turn it back on and reinstall the cartridges.

Two of the cartridges leaked all over the printer and desk area,the colors all had a green tint ,one cart. only lasted for 5 copies. all items were returned and i am waiting for my refunds
