I ordered 2 because I was out, so immediately installed 1 and within 2 days it had run out (NO I had not done a lot of printing) I think it was very low when I put it in and I did not notice because I was in a hurry.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Canon & all printer manufacturers say 'buy only OEM ink'. I used to believe that-not anymore. #Except for HIGH END professional quality printing then use the recommended OEM ink and PAPER#. LD's ink has been used in all my printers and never a clogged inkjet nozzle. I have never had the ink bleed or drip on to the page. All printing is just as if I had OEM ink in the printer. If your printer is still in warranty stay with OEM, if not it may VOID your warranty. CAUTION-print at least the 'TEST' page from your printer once a week. If you do not use your printer for long periods of time the nozzle will have to be cycled through a cleaning process by the printer and you will lose some ink in the process. I use it with confidence for all my printing. Printing color maps is a real tough test for any printer as well as the ink. If the ink is going to smear, drip or bleed-maps are a sure way to find out! LD Ink is Quality Ink!

I switched to the LD cartridges about a year ago for my Canon mx870 and they work great. As a result, I have also purchased LD cartridges for my large format 13 x 19 photo printer which I use for very high quality jobs. I am saving a lot of money and getting the same quality.

Do not hesitate from ordering this ink. I have ordered in the past and have been completely satisfied. Can't beat the price and costumer service is great! They are honest, friendly, and know their products. They even keep records of the previous orders. I found that out when I ordered ink for my brother who has a different printer than mine. They wanted to make sure I was getting the correct ink cartridges.

These ink cartridges always work! And I can see when the ink is getting low because of the chip. I'm not sure if they last as long as the original Canon product, but I am very satisfied and will keep buying.

Our Canon printer eats ink as I was warned it would. It is nice having this site and these products available for fast shipping and a low price. I especially like the fact that there is a chip in this product so my printer actually shows how much ink is left. On my old printer (HP) it wasn't an option and I just had to wait until the ink ran out and didn't know when that would happen. This works just like the ink cartridges from the printer manufacturer.

I've been using LD inks for some time now in my Canon printer. The included chip is a nice touch and the ink seems to last at least as long as OEM ink at a significant savings. I have had no trouble with nozzle clogging or any issue at all with the ink.

I purchased the Canon compatible CLI221 (Magenta), with chip, for a fraction of the OEM Canon ink price. I was a little hesitant to try something not manufactured by the maker of the printer. I should have tried it much earlier. The ink performs and appears exactly like the original. I have now ordered additional cartridges for my other Canon printers. Great bargain and a great product!

My last order of the CLI221 Magenta ink was very disappointing, two of the cartridges would not print properly in spite of repeated attempts to clean them. In fact, one was almost emptied trying to get it to print without either streaking or not printing at all. And YES, I did try another cartridge from another source and it worked perfectly. Guess this was just a dud order.

I have tired other refilled ink cartidges for Canon and honestly say, don't give up. LD products supply the best with the chip working fine! I have had several Canon printers and they work fine, but the chip protection is annoying!
But LD has it licked and the quality of the ink is as good as Canon's!!!
