The printer does not always recognize the cartridge and has to be shut down and on again for it to work.

This black ink cartridge does not to work in place of the large black ink cartridge. I do not see why one would purchase a replacement when this small black cartridge is out of ink. Perhaps it has some other function that I am not aware of.

I can't tell a difference in quality between this and Canon OEM inks, and for about half the price you'd pay. I have bought other brands that were definitely inferior, I am a repeat customer of LD Products now.

Liquid stands for the ink, of course...all of the colors. I've read that this liquid, if sold by the ounce, would cost more that silver. And maybe it just might be worth it. I purchased ink for my Canon MX870 printer and they work great! If you own this type of printer it requires each ink cartridge to have a chip or the printer will not recognize the cartridge.
