I've been using LD ink for several years now and I have never had any problems with the quality, my order, or the shipping. I use the ink on two different Canon printers and have used it on several different ones before these with never any problems with the ink.

The Canon Compatible PGI220 Pigment Black Ink does not appear to be compatible with PIXMA MX870 CANON printer. I tried the first cartridge and it did not work and then tried the 2nd one thinking maybe the first one was faulty but both were not compatible as the red indicator light did not come on when I slotted your cartridges in as they should like the original cartridges plus it gave an error message that it did not recognize the cartridge. I am hereby returning the whole order (as I bought Magenta, Cyan & Yellow cartridges as well) as I have no confidence that the other ones will work as well.
Its a shame as I used to order all my ink for my old PIXMA from LDProducts but it appears that Canon have raised the bar making it difficult to use non-original Canon cartridges.
Recommendation is that if you are buying cartridges for a new Canon printer, don't assume it will work, buy one and try it first.

I was pleasantly surprised after I started to use this ink cartridge. The printer worked without a problem and the print was very clear - good ink flow. The prize is good. The only knowledge lacking is how long the ink cartridge will last compared to the original from the printer manufacturer.

I always buy LD ink. I rarely have a issue, but once in a while a cartridge has a problem chip and doesn't work well. This is so seldom, I don't bother sending them back.

I don't use a lot of ink and sometimes it sits in my printer for quite a while with just intermintent use but always works with no problems. The print and picture quality is very good for my aplications.

Having heard numerous comments about the high quality of the compatible Canon ink product, I decided to try it. I found the ink well packaged, very easy to install, and reasonably priced.
