Its really easy to mix up cartridge numbers. I had to return 2 cartridges because the only difference between the correct number & the bad number was the letter "P" in the number.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I replaced the photo magenta, photo cyan and yellow inks (which are the primary inks used, aside from black) in my Canon printer with compatible ink, and I can't seem to get the colors in my prints to match perfectly with the prints I made with all Canon ink. There's sort of a sickly greenish tinge to the prints. I managed to tweak the ink levels a bit to the point that the photo looked ok (yellow and magenta +5, and cyan -8 I think), but still not quite right. I also downloaded and applied the color profiles for the paper i was using, but that pretty much did the same thing as my settings tweaking...any advice on this would be helpful.

I print my own greeting cards & need a quality but very affordable ink source if I am to realize much profit from this. Many people probably don't know how long their ink lasts - I DO, I have to & I have used other brands that my printer just seems to eat right up. NO problems with the LD at all.

Color changes were experienced as soon as I installed this cartridge, compared to the original Canon cartridge that came with the printer. Noticeable in light and dark gray's, which changed their hue.

The Compatible Canon Cli-8 ink cartridges have a sponge inside the cartridge that may become dry. You may cover the hole of the cartridge with a paper towel and shake the cartridge to correct the printing. If unsuccessful a replacement product free of charge with a prepaid shipping label can be mailed so we can access the problem with your product.
